Accommodations and Layout Sleeps six in forward stateroom and aft master stateroom. Salon settee and drop table convert to double berth. Forward of the salon through step down companionway is a forward stateroom with vee berths. An ensuite head with shower. Ample storage is provided in a hanging locker and under berths. The spacious salon features the lower helm station to starboard with electronics for safe operation out of weather. A side door is provided just aft of the helm for easy deck access. To port is a full galley, featuring a Princess 3 burner electric stove with oven broiler. Ample counter tops and storage, including stainless steel sink and cutting board. An under counter Sub-zero fridge and a freezer located just aft completes this full galley arrangement. To starboard is a settee with custom Hi-Low winged table enabling the conversion to double berth. Opposite is the entertainment center with the Sub-zero freezer below. Additional storage under settee completes this food prep and seating entertainment area. Moving aft and down a stepped companion way is the master stateroom. A double berth to starboard and single to port featuring extensive storage under, complete with hanging locker and chest of drawers. A full head with tub/shower, vanity and storage, spacious and comfortable for extended cruising or live aboard yacht. On deck, a large flybridge, with lots of seating and sundeck area just aft of full control and navigation area. All electronics from Furuno radar VHF, autopilot and new color depth sounder, add to ease of operation. Mounted atop the aft cabin deck is a Dyer tender with outboard motor mounted on aft rail of the flybridge. A mast with launching boom for tender is also provided. Large side decks leading forward and aft are complete with for and aft washdowns and windless on foredeck pulpit. This Grand Banks 42 makes a great cruiser or comfortable live aboard.
