1988 Beneteau

In the late 1980's Beneteau stepped outside of the racer/cruiser fashion of the day and created the Oceanis line of cruising sailboats. Roomy, comfortable for couples or families, with a nod toward seakindliness and pleasing performance, the Oceanis line continues to this day. Strike Two is a beautifully maintained, clean, Oceanis 390 in the desirable two-cabin/two head configuration, that will surprise you with its sailor-centered layout, comfort, and attractive looks.

Strike Two features a solid fiberglass hull below the waterline, balsa-cored decking, and a structural grid system bonded to the hull. A fin keel and spade-style rudder optimize performance while preserving stability. The transom is accessible from the cockpit, with slatted teak steps and extra storage lockers underfoot. Large cockpit lazarettes provide places to stash lines, fenders, and supplies, and a bimini and dodger keep the crew out of the sun and dry. 

Belowdecks, the main feature is the saloon, with ample seating all around. An L-shaped galley along the port side opens the interior space while affording the proper amount of cooking and preparation space. The forward portion of the countertop is home to a large, top-opening refrigerator/freezer.

The forward stateroom offers sizeable accommodations, with a head and shower. Natural lighting fills the spaces and is enhanced with honey-toned teak ceilings and trim throughout the cabin. Aft, the guest stateroom is to port, while a second head with shower is behind the navigation station on starboard.
