COMET is Hull #5 of the Alerion Express 38 Yawls, which are known for their well-balanced performance. This particular boat has a custom-designed keel by naval architect Jim Taylor, installed by the last owner for the Newport Bermuda Race to enhance her performance further. 

She comes equipped with the patented Hoyt Jib Boom and mizzenmast, providing a variety of beneficial sail plans. These boats are known for moving swiftly at all points of sail while maneuvering exceptionally well. Below deck and in her cockpit, COMET can comfortably accommodate six guests for cruising or racing. Standing headroom below is 6’2”.
