This 2002 70' West Bay SonShip Sportfishing Yacht, PEGASUS, combines substantial offshore capability, comfortable three-stateroom accommodations, and a long list of upgraded equipment in a versatile enclosed-pilothouse/ flybridge platform. Vessel Overview

Built by West Bay SonShip in Delta, Canada, PEGASUS offers a compelling combination of traditional yacht comfort and purpose-built sportfishing capability. Her pilothouse configuration provides a protected helm environment for long-range cruising while her flybridge allows for perfect views and better fishability for the Captain. Expansive aft areas deliver the functionality expected from a capable offshore fishing yacht.

PEGASUS has been updated with modern equipment highlighted by a Seakeeper stabilization system and Starlink satellite system. Her three-stateroom interior provides comfortable accommodations for owners and guests, while the large air-conditioned salon, generous galley and multiple entertaining spaces make extended time aboard exceptionally practical.

Outside, the spacious cockpit is outfitted with a day head, two large bait tanks, six tuna tubes and a fighting chair, while a transom door provides convenient access to the retractable swim ladder. Teak decking completes the aft entertaining and fishing areas.

Aft controls on the upper deck make docking and maneuvering on a trophy marlin easy.

Accommodations

PEGASUS features a versatile three-stateroom layout with two complete heads plus a dedicated day head. The aft master stateroom features a queen-size berth and a large private head with separate shower. A forward guest stateroom offers a double berth and access to a shared full head, while the midship guest stateroom is configured with two bunk berths. A Whirlpool washer and dryer are conveniently located in a dedicated compartment within the master stateroom.

Salon

The spacious, air-conditioned salon provides comfortable seating for up to six with a sofa, loveseat and coffee table arrangement. Entertainment and convenience features include a flat-screen smart TV, wet bar and Raritan ice maker. The salon opens aft to the lanai deck, providing an easy transition between interior and exterior living spaces.

Galley & Dining

The oversized galley is designed to support extended cruising and entertaining, featuring a full-size Sub-Zero stainless-steel refrigerator/freezer, Miele electric four-burner stovetop and microwave. A dedicated dinette is positioned to starboard. Additional cooking facilities include two Mabe electric cooktops located in the upper aft cockpit.

A Steelhead Marine dinghy crane, rated for up to approximately 1,500 lbs., is positioned on the starboard upper aft deck. PEGASUS includes a 12' tender rated for up to eight persons and powered by a 50 HP outboard (not registered).
