Design & Features

Exterior

• Hull & Hardtop: Fiberglass hull with a sleek profile. One standout feature is the integrated hardtop and windshield design, which gives good shelter and visibility. 
• Swim Platform: Extended swim platform for ease of boarding, stowing a dinghy, or lounging. Often with transom doors. 
• Cockpit/Helm Layout: Spacious cockpit with seating, wet bar sometimes, a refrigerator, lounge areas. The helm deck is often enclosed (depending on options), often with air conditioning/heating etc. 

Interior / Habitation

• Salon: Comfortable salon with settees, possibly convertible for extra sleeping. Often teak & holly flooring, good headroom. 
• Galley: Fully equipped with stove (Kenyon burner often), microwave, refrigerator/freezer, sink, cabinetry (teak in many cases), Corian or similar counters.
• Stateroom(s): Forward master with a pedestal queen berth, hanging lockers, storage drawers. Some additional sleeping may be available by converting salon seating. 
• Head: One head (bathroom) with shower, sink, storage. Good size for a 36’ boat. 

Mechanical / Systems

• Propulsion: Shaft-drive
• Generators: Often fitted with generator (e.g. Kohler ~8 kW) for power when away from shore power. 
• Comfort Systems: Air conditioning/heating units, UV-freshwater systems, water heaters, hot water, etc. 

Performance & Handling

• The Sovran 3600 is known for a smooth ride and good seaworthiness. The hull design gives enough V (deadrise) to handle chop well, while maintaining stability at rest. 
• Cruising speeds generally somewhere in the mid-20s (knots), top speeds depending on load and engine options can be higher. 
• Maneuverability is aided by good helm visibility, decent turning radius, and features such as trim tabs, Good engine control layout.
