CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS

2023

All Running gear removed. Props and Shafts reconditioned, new Cutlass Bearings installed, Shaft Seals reconditioned, new spare seals installed, and engine alignment checked. Worked performed by High Seas Yacht Service at LMC Hull Paint. We painted the Hull from waterline, over the cap rail, inside the bulwarks down to the main deck teak. At the same time bottom paint and prop speed was renewed.

Bridge Deck Teak. Replace all bridge deck teak from the hot tub area, Portuguese deck, and the steps leading to the compass rose. We also had the other 2 decks sanded. All in total was $110K and took 9 weeks. All work was performed by OP Yacht Services at LMC.

Crew area refit. Replaced cracked countertops, recovered settee cushions and all new carpet. Total was 21K and took 3 weeks. This work was performed by Thomas Anthony, Ronnies Carpet and Senko yachts.

2022-2023

AV Upgrade. We re-wired the entire AV system, installed new AVR’s, TV’s, receivers, Apple TVs, and all new I-pad controllers with programming. This part of the project is complete. We are upgrading all the Crestron controllers and room boxes; at this time, we are waiting on Crestron controllers that are on back order. This is a 225K upgrade that is approximately 75% complete. Work performed by Peter Lauer at Global Marine Electronics.

2022

5000-hour generator service. Renewed everything down to the engine block. Service performed at 5000 hours by Duggan Marine, Northern Lights Specialists. Currently (8/9/2023) we have 8035 hours. This took 5 weeks and was a 25K service.

2021

Main engine QL3 service. This is the engine ½ life service in which they renew everything down to the main engine block. This took 7 weeks and $405K. Service performed at 6200 hours by TDW Marine, MTU Specialists. Currently (8/9/2023) we have 8050 hours on the engines.

V-Sat and Wi-Fi. Upgraded to a K4 One Box. And 2 directional antennas. This system has 12 cellular sim cards and “on demand” V-Sat service with VOIP connection. If the Starlink (installed 6/2023) were to fail, you can call KVH and on the spot pay for as much bandwidth as you would like, eliminating any loss of Wi-Fi, anywhere in the world. This was a 75K upgrade. Work performed by Peter Lauer at Global Marine Electronics.

2020

A/C refit. 2 new chillers and turned the entire chiller plant around gaining proper access for service. At the same time, we re-plumbed the chiller loop and raw water loop so we can shut ½ the system down for service. Previously, you had to shut the entire system off, leaving the boat without A/C. This took 2 weeks and was a 65K upgrade. All work was performed by Titan Marine A/C.

2019-2020

Interior and exterior refit. Includes all new carpet throughout boat (except crew area), entire exterior cushions replaced, all new exterior pillows, new exterior furniture, new countertops on aft deck and flybridge, new sky lounge furniture, new salon furniture (replaced or recovered), new wall coverings on main deck, new bedding for all guest and master staterooms, new overhead and wall coverings in crew area, new lighting in main salon, new wall coverings in galley, new *artwork through the boat and additional tabletop appointments.
