2013 Explorer Motor Yacht 40 Sedan | Serenea

A proven bluewater companion, Serenea is a 2013 Explorer 40 Sedan designed and built for serious coastal and offshore cruising. With a solid GRP hull, wide side decks, and a hardtop over both the aft cockpit and flybridge, Serenea offers confidence and comfort in all conditions.

Measuring 44’6” (13.6m) with a 3.96m beam and shallow 1.02m draft, she provides excellent stability underway while remaining capable of accessing protected anchorages. Powered by twin Yanmar 200HP diesels (3,410 and 3,460 hrs, serviced Feb 2025), she cruises economically at 9 knots consuming just 33 L/h, with a top speed of 14 knots when needed. Docking is made easy with dual-station Vetus 75Kg bow thrusters.

The flybridge is both functional and social, with commanding views and shaded seating. Below, Serenea’s saloon welcomes you with warm timber finishes, 2m headroom, and large windows. Electrical systems include an Onan 11kW genset (5,300+ hrs), twin Mastervolt ChargeMaster+ 12V/75A chargers, shore power, and separate house and start batteries.

Ground tackle features a Maxwell 1500 windlass, 45lb stainless Bruce anchor, and 90m of 10mm galvanised chain. The tender system includes a flybridge-mounted ADC 200kg crane, with a Qingdao 280 tender and Yamaha 4HP four-stroke outboard.
